Camden Market is a true reflection of Camden’s uniqueness. With countless Amy Winehouse shrines, street art, food stalls, live music and multicoloured houses – you’ll find something new everywhere you turn.
There’s restaurants, bars, shops and stalls selling handmade jewellery and furniture. You will quickly realise just how special and atmospheric Camden market is once you visit and will always want to return once you leave.
I have been a few times during trips to visit friends in London, every time I’ve went, I have seen something new that I didn’t see the last time. It truly feels like its own space inside of the busy streets of London. The picturesque canal is surrounded by all sorts of restaurants and bars to choose from.

Once you enter the inside area, much like the Room of Hidden Things in Harry Potter, you’re presented with all sorts of niknaks.
I bought a few different bits from there, like some incense, a hand embellished pillowcase for £4. There is so much to choose from, so much to look at, each area in the market is like organised chaos. It’s truly one-of-a-kind and not to be missed when you visited London.
Wat Buddhapadipa

This was the first Thai temple built in the U.K., where monks tend to the four acre grounds and often invite you to pray or admire the temple. When you see this temple for the first time it will take your breath away. Once, I went by myself and got invited inside by one of the monks who said a prayer for me and lit some incense. The gardens are complete with Buddha statues, unique ornaments, a lake, bridges and meditating areas you are free to roam. This is my favourite place to relax in London, it’s so peaceful and a place to get away from the busy streets. You can get here by taking the Tube to Wimbledon Park Station and after a fifteen minute walk through Wimbledon Common, you’ll arrive!

Twinings

The oldest tea shop in London. It’s a tiny shop with over 300 years of history. There’s over 200 teas from all over the world, tea tasting and a museum. Some of the tea is in jars so you’re able to smell before you buy. You can also buy individual sachets of each flavour for less than £1.

Biscuiteers

The world’s only Biscuit Boutique, with their luxury biscuits hand-iced and made the old fashioned way. The outside of the bakery is truly unique, with a cartoon-like sketches and illustrations that almost makes it look like a sketch on a piece of paper.
