Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs

By

🍝🫑🧅🍅🧄🌱

A pretty much basic meal that is packed with flavour and nutrients.

What you will need:

Brown onion

Red & green pepper

Tomatoes

Fresh garlic

Spring onion

Olive oil

Beef mince

Meatballs

Balsamic Vinegar

Worcestershire sauce

Passata sauce

Spaghetti

Thyme

Basil

Beef Stock

Black & white pepper

Salt

Onion granules

Garlic granules

Tomato paste

Parmesan

Below is a step by step guide on how to cook:

METHOD:

  1. Olive oil in a large saucepan on a medium heat.
  2. Reduce the heat and add chopped onions, red and green pepper, tomatoes, garlic and spring onion and fry for around 10 minutes until the veg is soft.
  3. Increase the heat, add your beef mince and meatballs until the meat is brown all over, then lower the heat again.
  4. Add some balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, basil, black & white pepper, salt, onion granules, garlic granules, and tomato purée.
  5. Let things sit together to allow the flavours to combine, then add passata sauce.
  6. Bring your bolognese sauce back to a medium heat, ideally covering with a lid and stirring occasionally.
  7. Boil your spaghetti for a few minutes once the bolognese is complete, as per pack instructions.
  8. I like to add some Parmesan to the bolognese while the spaghetti is boiling.
  9. Once the spaghetti is done and drained, you can either add it to the bolognese or prepare it on to your place for the bolognese to go on top.
  10. I like to serve mine with extra Parmesan and spring onion on top, with a side of cheesy garlic bread.

I hope you enjoy!
