Your girl is officially about to become a published author!

I have been pretty quiet on here for the last three weeks, because I have been wholly focused on a different type of project and wanted to solely focus on that.

I’ve always wanted to be an author, but I had no idea my first published book would be a bilingual rhyming story for children! (Spanish/English).

Ever since I was taught Spanish in high school and continued my studies to A level, I have loved the beautiful language so much. I am so excited to be able to incorporate the different sides of me into my writing. My high school teacher, Señor Jones, was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. He made our lessons so fun and enjoyable. He taught us Spanish words through songs and rhymes that he would make up, which has stayed with me since I left school 10 years ago.

Usually, my work is long reads and deep-dives – so doing a temporary shift to poetry was different in many ways. I have loved the experience so far and feeling really confident for the next steps ahead.
