Recipes

Although my degrees are in Law and Politics, cooking and baking is also a love of mine. My love for cooking initially ignited when I moved into my first apartment by venturing out and trying new meals and ingredients. I was vegetarian for around 7 years and I’ve only recently started eating meat again – I’ve used a variety of recipes and know what works, what tastes good and what’s good for the inside too. I hope you enjoy following along my journey and the dishes I add my stamp on!

There’s times when I enjoy spending an hour making a meal, and other times when I quickly throw something together. Whether it’s slow cooked, in the oven or on the hob – I have curated a list of my favourite, delicious recipes that aren’t daunting for those without a lot of cooking experience and time. They’re easy to follow and full of goodness.

My Grandad Jim, who is Russian, Scouse and Irish, and my Mum Claire who was born in Liverpool, are the main influences behind the ingredients and flavourings used in my recipes. As I grew up in Liverpool, you’ll find a lot of the dishes I upload, will have a heavily northern influence. What can I say. When it ain’t broke!
